Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join our Financial Reporting and Cash Management operation team for Wealth Management Clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of administrators, directly managing a manager to agreed service levels with a customer-focused approach.
  • Provide proactive and innovative solutions to customers.
  • Lead medium to large projects or work on complex or high-profile issues that require a broad perspective, conceptual thinking, and in-depth analysis to identify solutions.
  • Deliver operational services to SS&C clients in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Act as a secondary point of escalation for client and internal teams.
  • May also lead a process or function with direct reports.
  • Manage workload and work queues, prioritizing tasks to meet both external and internal deadlines, turnaround times, and service standards while maintaining an appropriate quality standard.
  • Demonstrate a depth and breadth of expertise within a discipline, and have a deep understanding of the business, financials, products/services, or market.
  • Develop policies and procedures, and recommend best practices. Advise and provide direction to more junior professionals.
  • Be a well-organized and methodical individual with experience of working to strict deadlines.
  • Have excellent verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
  • Present an appropriately professional image; communicate clearly, concisely, and diplomatically.
  • Have problem-solving and decision-making skills over different levels of problems.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of client money and CMAR reporting.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulatory environment.
  • Good keyboard skills to include MS Office packages & systems used within the business.
  • Good verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
  • 5 years business experience, demonstrating an understanding of responsibilities within the Financial Services Industry. Desirable: Within TPA background.
  • A good understanding of reconciliations.
  • Excellent Communication, Planning, Prioritizing & Organizational skills.
  • IOC Qualifications obtained or willingness to study.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Hubwise/Bluedoor/Recon/AWD/Autorek.
  • CASS 6 & 7 & CMAR regulatory requirements.
