About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ceramics Instructor to join our team at Colchester Institute. As a key member of our Art & Design faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach ceramics to Art & Design students on Further Education programmes
- Deliver an evening Leisure 'Clay Club' class for adult learners
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be educated to degree level or above and have experience of teaching ceramics to Art & Design students on Further Education programmes or equivalent. Experience of Bisque and glaze firing would be a distinct advantage.
