We are seeking an experienced Rolling Mill Setter to join our Production Department at the West Bromwich facility. This role will report directly to the Production Group Leader and will be responsible for setting and operating our cold roll forming equipment, presses, and ancillary equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
- Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
- Keep production and quality-related records up to date
- Ensure good levels of safety are maintained in the area
- Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
- A good knowledge of Roll forming
- Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
- Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards
- Ability to comply with and promote Atkore's values
- Years' experience in setting and operating a cold roll forming mill
