Job Title: Credit Controller

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Peterborough. As a key member of the Credit Control Team, you will be responsible for the collection of outstanding debt and will work closely with the Accounts Receivable Team to ensure the governance of all new customers, coordination of sales systems, and delivery of invoices and statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage aged debt in accordance with defined collection strategies
  • Take a proactive role in collecting outstanding invoices by telephone and email
  • Perform customer reconciliations
  • Maintain customer master data governance
  • Manage pre-stop and stop accounts
  • Be commercially aware in the management of specific accounts
Requirements:
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Experience working in a finance environment
  • Previous credit control experience
  • AAT qualification
