Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Hebburn. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and approachable nature, with experience working in a similar role within an educational setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to pupils aged 4-11. This will involve assisting with lesson planning, preparing resources, and providing individual support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assist with preparing resources and materials
  • Provide individual support to students with special educational needs
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements
  • DBS clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
