As a key member of our commercial insurance broking team, you will be responsible for providing support to management and account executives in handling SME commercial insurance risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the launch of our new office in Glasgow and handle new and existing commercial insurance risks.
  • Provide quotations, handle renewals, MTA's, insurer placement, invoicing, etc.
  • Work closely with account executives, attending client visits where required.
  • Keep Acturis records up to date.
  • Attend network events.
  • Grow and develop insurer relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within commercial insurance broking.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
  • Understand general and legal principles of insurance and relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Existing insurer relationships would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Computer literate.
  • Acturis experience essential.
  • CII qualifications would be advantageous.
