Process Engineer Opportunity

A leading organisation in battery cell research and manufacturing is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with other functions and project teams to develop and implement processes for scaling up cell assembling technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain documentation for control plans, PFMEAs, SWIs, and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyse data to drive process performance and conduct validation and capability studies.
  • Provide practical and theoretical guidance to plant, operational, and quality teams.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry progression.
  • Improve existing equipment and manufacturing processes to ensure technology relevance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in the automotive or Tier 1/Tier 2 industry.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering desired.
  • Excellent reporting skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interest in energy storage technology and willingness to adapt to a new industry.
  • Significant experience in process engineering within a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
