Job Title: Buyer Directs X2

We are seeking experienced Buyers with Automotive or Manufacturing expertise to join our client's Purchasing function. This is a strategic role where you will take ownership of assigned commodity areas, run RFPs and tendering activities, identify cost optimization opportunities, and take a commercial outlook for your category.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a newly enhanced environment, with a focus on career growth and progression. You will be required to work on site 3 days a week and 2 days from home, with an early finish on Fridays.

Our client is a leading Automotive OEM with a strong presence in the UK market. They are looking for professionals who can bring expertise and innovation to their Purchasing function.

As a Buyer Directs X2, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing assigned commodity areas to achieve cost savings and process improvements
  • Running RFPs and tendering activities to secure best-in-class suppliers
  • Identifying cost optimization opportunities and implementing process improvements
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
