Position Overview:

As a Regulatory Compliance Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding the Mercedes-Benz UK entities on matters related to data protection and corporate compliance. Your expertise will be essential in safeguarding the organization from potential financial repercussions and reputational risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialized advice on data protection laws, including GDPR, ensuring that all policies and procedures align with legal requirements.
  2. Lead anti-money laundering initiatives by conducting comprehensive risk assessments and audits to maintain the integrity of business operations.
  3. Oversee due diligence processes, assessing the reliability of business transactions and identifying risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  4. Manage the whistleblowing policy, fostering a safe environment for employees to report concerns while ensuring confidentiality.
  5. Design and deliver training programs that equip employees with the necessary knowledge to comply with regulatory standards.
  6. Stay updated on legislative changes and advise the organization on necessary policy modifications.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in compliance, with a strong understanding of data protection regulations and anti-money laundering practices.
