Role Overview

This position is workshop-based, focusing on the installation, servicing, and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering schematics.
  • Utilization of measuring and recording instruments.
  • Management of high-pressure systems and associated equipment.
  • Service and repair of machinery as necessary.
  • Inspection, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
  • Overhaul and testing of pumps, motors, and control valves.
  • Preparation of detailed service reports and maintenance of accurate records, ensuring all documentation, testing procedures, risk assessments, and toolbox talks are completed to a high standard.
  • Collaboration with other trades and disciplines as required.
