Senior Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at the North Wales Adolescent Service in Abergele. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to young people between the ages of 12-17 years old with mental health problems.
Main Responsibilities:- Act as a case manager for a small group of young people and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to plan, deliver, and review their care.
- Contribute to the development of more junior colleagues, students, and the wider service.
- Assess mental health problems and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
- Provide and engage in effective clinical supervision.
- Work cooperatively with other agencies and disciplines.
- First-level registered Mental Health Nurse or Paediatric Nurse qualification.
- Post-registration qualification in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Experience of working in in-patient Adolescent Mental Health work.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relating to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nursing.
- Teaching and assessing qualification.
- Ability to speak Welsh.
This is a full-time equivalent post, and you will be required to work a range of shift patterns, including night shifts. You will also be expected to travel within the geographical area.
