In this position, you will receive training on programming advanced automated safety systems utilized across various sectors, including manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and oil & gas.

Your responsibilities will also include traveling to various sites, including offshore locations, to commission control systems, with additional compensation for overtime and offshore work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Programming distributed control systems for industrial automation
- Adhering to SIL 3 standards
- Flexible hybrid working arrangement with up to three days of remote work per week
- Traveling nationally and offshore to assist with the commissioning of new equipment, approximately once a month
- Enjoying every other Friday off

Candidate Profile:
- Experienced Automation Engineer, PLC/DCS Programmer, Controls Engineer, or PLC/DCS Service Engineer looking for career advancement
- Willingness to travel and work offshore for up to two weeks at a time
- Must be commutable to Runcorn, Cheshire
