Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Validation Specialist to join our team at Tiger Resourcing Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering advanced development facility readiness and ensuring that our test and validation systems are up to date and aligned with the latest project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the dedicated calibration and test system configuration support for onsite test and validation.
  • Understand customer project development requirements and configure test and validation systems accordingly.
  • Build up and maintain a test and validation facility configuration library.
  • Plan and prioritize system configuration requirements on appropriate test facilities to meet project team and project objectives.
  • Keep test facility calibration and software up to date versus project status and aligned with test system-specific modifications required ensuring operational capability.
  • Manage datasets, database, and version control to comply with retention and IATF16949 audits compliance requirements.
  • Enhance and develop relevant internal tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Compile technical reports and presentations citing clear analysis and summaries for decision making.
  • Escalate risks and issues to core team members and management in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with FIE calibration.
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to present information at management level.
  • Significant product knowledge for FIE components and systems.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Educated to a minimum of degree level in Automotive Mechanical or Software Engineering Science Mathematics or similar.
  • Calibration software or system development and validation experience in a powertrain development environment.
  • Exposure to mechanical and/or electromechanical components and electromechanical products.
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
  • Sound mechanical understanding of fuel injection equipment and fluid dynamics.
  • Hydraulic systems development and integration experience.
