Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Box Office Operations Specialist to assist in managing and enhancing the ticketing operations for OVO Arena Wembley.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee event setup and management, including creating manifests and finalizing figures on show nights.
- Collaborate with Ticketing/Box Office teams and event organizers to optimize event configurations, manage seat availability, advise on pricing strategies, and handle ticket sales through to final reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Ticketing Companies, Agents, and Promoters to ensure accurate event setup.
- Supervise Box Office operations during show days.
- Assist the Front of House Manager in addressing ticketing and Box Office customer inquiries.
- Maintain the seating plans database and financial records; liaise with ticketing suppliers.
- Report daily sales figures to event promoters.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and ASM Global's Health & Safety Policy.
- Utilize resources effectively to minimize waste and costs.
- Lead and manage using essential competencies: planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and performance management.
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a ticketing or Box Office environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in ticket sales.
- A genuine passion for the live events industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend work may be required.
