About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Storal. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of childcare and early years education are delivered to our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the educator team to deliver high-quality teaching and care under the EYFS framework.
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich, stimulating experiences that promote their learning and development.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent high-quality teaching across the nursery.
  • Manage staffing ratios effectively and create a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Attract, hire, and develop skilled educators who share our values and commitment to excellence.
  • Deputise for the Nursery Manager during absence and provide leadership and support to the team.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with:

Early Years Education qualification to at least Level 3 or equivalent.Experience in a managerial role, including nursery administration.Understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in practice.Ability to reflect and implement Storal's values, including responsibility, openness, and teamwork.Experience in providing staff training and support.
