Care New England Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Leader to join our team as a Manager of Finance. This key role will serve as a financial leader for the assigned Operating Unit, directly reporting to and supporting the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Operating Unit, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to create and promote a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
- Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate financial projections and reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions and drive financial performance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including the Director of Finance, Operating Unit leaders, and other senior executives.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly close process, variance analysis, and performance summarization.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting.
- Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operating Unit leaders, Directors, and other senior executives, to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including hospital managers, department leaders, and other key partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of financial experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent judgment, critical, strategic, and analytical thinking required.
