Job Title: HGV Technician

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Scania, one of the world's leading manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on our range of heavy commercial vehicles. You will work in a fast-paced environment, using your technical skills and knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Continuously develop and improve technical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
Preferred Requirements:
  • LGV/HGV/PCV licence an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
