Job Title: Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ramsay Health Care Clinical. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during orthopaedic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the scrub role in Consultant-led surgeries, varying in complexity and specialism
  • Work across a range of specialisms, including orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre protocols and policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise

Requirements:

  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) – desirable but not essential
  • Experience in orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction – an advantage
