Senior Manufacturing Engineer - VCATS

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer - VCATS to join our team at Expleo Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of vehicle programmes from original concept and design, through to manufacturing feasibility and into current production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and participate in improvement projects, shopfloor performance reviews, and value stream groups.
  • Own focused improvement processes, driving down losses in the plant.
  • Plan key improvements for critical measures such as build efficiency, waste, and process risk optimization.
  • Identify and support CI activities that will create value, leading focused improvement initiatives, six sigma projects, and FMEA risk reduction activities.
  • Verify effectiveness of new tools and sustained application in process.
  • Mentor others in the application of process and procedures, supporting standardized workflows.
Requirements:
  • ONC, HNC, or Degree level educated within a related Engineering discipline and/or relevant experience in the Automotive/Aerospace industry.
  • Previous engineering experience, particularly related to VCATS.
  • Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcentre or NX.
  • Familiarity with facility and tooling requirements, standardized process documentation, PFMEA, process control plans, and layout planning.
  • Ideal skills in Autocad layout drawing, 3D printing/model creation, data manipulation, and BOM management.
