Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting structural surveys of buildings, preparing digital reports, and providing technical support for buildings insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting structural surveys of various building types and structures
  • Preparing specifications for remedial works and providing technical support for buildings insurance claims
  • Reporting to the Managing Director and providing progress updates
  • General structural design and developing new ideas to shape the company's future
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • Extensive experience in structural surveys of buildings
  • 2 years post-graduate design experience
  • General understanding of building structures and materials, including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
  • Chartership - MICE or MIStructE
  • SER Registered
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
  • Excellent work ethic and willingness to support company growth
  • Passionate about new technologies, progressive change, and continuous improvement
  • Car owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to site
