About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Operations (Reman & PDI) department at Komatsu Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing procurement and purchasing strategies to maximize cost savings and ensure production delivery in full and on time (DIFOT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement plans to achieve business objectives
  • Manage external vendors and negotiate contracts to secure best prices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role
  • Demonstrated expertise in expediting and vendor management
  • Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
