Senior Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at a prestigious hotel in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing the food operation, working closely with the Head Chef and key stakeholders to deliver a consistent, compliant, and profitable department.
- Participate in food ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure efficient inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with current food trends, cooking techniques, and industry developments to inspire and motivate the kitchen team.
- Excellent culinary skills and experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Ability to maintain processes for efficient working and ensure high standards of quality and safety.
- NVQ Level 3 in professional cookery or equivalent, and intermediate food hygiene certification.
