Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Wykewood care home in Bradford. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be accountable and responsible for supporting people's holistic needs, providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care, and promoting health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing, planning, and implementing care for individuals living with complex care and health needs
  • Providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care
  • Developing collaborative needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
  • Promoting health and wellbeing
Requirements
  • First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
  • Knowledgeable of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and committed to working within its Codes of Practice
  • Excellent supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, and career prospects
