We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Civil Maritime Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects and contributing to the success of our clients.

About the Role

As a Chief Civil Maritime Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams who undertake technical design work, ensuring that projects are delivered to high-quality standards and on time. You will work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions, set quality assurance standards, and grow and develop civil engineering capability within the practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes
  • Working closely with teams to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Setting quality assurance standards in design
  • Growing, developing, and managing civil engineering capability within the practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment
  • Working experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS6349
