Shipping Coordinator

Airedale by Modine is seeking a highly skilled Shipping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of our products to customers around the world.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the shipping of export orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
- Negotiate freight rates with forwarders and agents, taking into account Incoterms and other shipping terms.
- Work closely with internal departments, including Sales, Spares Order Processing, and Manufacturing, to progress export orders.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation for export shipments, including certification and legalization requirements.
- Provide cover for the UK Shipping Team in the event of absence.
- Experience in export shipping, preferably with a background in logistics or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
