About the Role

We are seeking an experienced social care practitioner to join our team as a Fostering Advisor. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people in Buckinghamshire.

As a Fostering Advisor, you will provide expert advice to the Fostering Panel Chair and the Agency Decision Maker, ensuring that the needs of children are met and that the fostering process is carried out in a fair and transparent manner.

You will work closely with our Fostering Panel to ensure that decisions are made in the best interests of children, and that the fostering process is carried out in a way that is responsive to the needs of children and families.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in social work, who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, families, and professionals.
