About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and confident Occupational Therapist to join our East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across both ward and community settings, with a strong focus on re-ablement and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients across our ward and community settings, with a focus on re-ablement and rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day workload of Band 4 assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services, including the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
