The Lead Engineer will be accountable for enhancing and sustaining the expertise and capabilities of the team, orchestrating project timelines, and overseeing project activities while addressing any associated challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate design solutions that meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards in alignment with project or organizational objectives.
  • Comprehend the contractual and performance specifications for diverse systems, and assist in defining the related acceptance criteria and events throughout the design, construction, integration, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and that tasks are executed in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, environmental standards, and local operational procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance for integrated performance and acceptance processes, including the acceptance of equipment from suppliers up to system approval by the client.
  • Contribute to the formulation of estimates for the scope of work and resources necessary for execution to support bidding, proposal formulation, and project planning for various systems.
  • Deliver technical insights and engineering solutions to facilitate construction activities, issue resolution, and change management.

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:

System Design Verification: Perform calculations, modeling, and analysis.

Maintain the functional design intent throughout the construction and integration phases leading to commissioning and acceptance.

Subject Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Proficient technical report writing skills.
  • Proven experience in delivering mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience applying technical knowledge across the complete engineering lifecycle.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in specifying mechanical equipment and components, including heat exchangers, pumps, diesel generators, hydraulic systems, compressors, etc.
