About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team at REClifts. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for independently managing your own service route, consisting of 100 units, and providing top-notch service and repair to our clients in the South and South West of England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competent in lift fault finding diagnostics and capable of first-time fixes of passenger and goods lifts.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and mentor junior Lift Service Engineers.
  • Complete minor repairs on passenger and goods lifts, both traction and MRL.
  • Report defective lifting equipment and order new parts accordingly.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience working on passenger lifts.
  • Hold a full clean driving license and be willing to travel.
  • Qualified to or above NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
  • Lives a commutable distance away from Newport.
