Job Title: Registered Vet Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Vet Nurse to join our team at a first opinion small animal practice in the sought-after Eastbourne area of East Sussex.

Role Overview:

This is a full-time opportunity with a 4-day week, including one in four Saturdays, with no Sundays or out-of-hours work. The role is varied, with theatre work, kennels, laboratory duties, and nurse clinics equally shared amongst the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a small animal clinic setting
  • Assist in theatre work, including surgical procedures and post-operative care
  • Contribute to laboratory duties, such as blood sampling and testing
  • Participate in nurse clinics, providing health checks and advice to clients
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve excellent patient care and practice standards
Requirements:
  • Qualified Registered Vet Nurse with experience in a small animal clinic
  • Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
