The Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Great Fosters Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests across our food and beverage departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the Estate Grill, lounge, and function rooms to the highest standards
  • Meet and greet guests, taking pride in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Take food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Serve food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, with a focus on exceptional customer service
  • Complete satisfaction checks, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
  • Present bills to guests and process payments with a smile
  • Reset the restaurant, lounge, and function rooms at the end of each shift, ensuring they are clean and tidy for the next service
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Availability to work 5 days per week, with flexible shifts as outlined above
  • Smart appearance and excellent communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service
  • Previous experience in a quality food service hotel or restaurant environment
