Estimator for Retail and Leisure Projects

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for estimating and managing costs for retail and leisure fit-out projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 along with a Car Allowance and additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all estimating processes to ensure accurate submissions following tender settlements.
- Collaborate with the commercial and operations teams to prepare competitive tender offers.
- Conduct site visits to verify asset information included in tender documentation.
- Perform thorough analyses of tender returns throughout the tendering process.
- Participate in start-up pre-price and pricing meetings.
- Manage multiple contracts simultaneously, demonstrating effective time management skills.
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of JCT/D&B contracts and experience in managing interior fit-out contracts is preferred.
- Experience in construction contracts is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to review contracts and identify potential risks to the business.
- Methodical and organized approach to financial management of projects.
Additional Information
Internal collaboration with sales and operations teams is essential, along with the procurement of subcontract packages, including LPM, labour-only, and materials supply. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the UK.
