About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of large-scale new build projects, extensive CAT A, B and C fit out works across various locations in the Midlands Region.

You will provide excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues, programme leads, client representatives, consultants and contractors on site to effectively deliver projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
  • Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our customer's requirements.
  • Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures
  • Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer's agent or project manager
  • Producing and presenting to customers
  • Mentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential
  • Preparing bids for services.
  • Managing service delivery for profit
  • Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance
About You

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction project management, ideally with prior project management positions with public and central government clients.

You will have a sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques, and be able to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent and/or Project Manager.

You will also have excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills, and be able to work as part of a team and manage teams.
