Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Tax Consultant to join our team at Leonid Group Ltd. As a Senior R&D Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on R&D tax reliefs, including technical, tax, and financial aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement
- Meet with clients and their finance and technical contacts to discuss R&D reliefs and provide guidance on eligibility.
- Interview in-house technical staff to assess the feasibility of R&D projects.
- Report Preparation
- Prepare and review structured reports in support of R&D tax claims, including descriptions of R&D projects and justification for relief.
- HMRC Liaison
- Contact and liaise with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients to discuss and obtain agreement on R&D tax claims.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise
- Excellent understanding of R&D tax reliefs, including technical, tax, and financial aspects.
- Communication Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex tax concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Professional Experience
- Experience in professional practice, accountancy, or tax roles, or experience dealing with HMRC.
