Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality animal care and husbandry, ensuring the health and safety of all animals in our care.
- Assist with the daily cleaning and maintenance of animal enclosures, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff.
- Develop and implement animal care plans, working closely with our animal care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our animals.
- Provide support and guidance to our students, promoting their learning and development through hands-on animal care experiences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of animal care policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in animal care, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent knowledge of animal husbandry and welfare, including health and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support and guidance to colleagues and students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- First Aid Certificate (desirable).
