Job Title: Head of Mechanical Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Mechanical Engineering to join our team at Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering department, ensuring the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, workflows, and standards. They will also be involved in process safety and hazard analysis, management of change, and ensuring the mechanical integrity of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop competency within the mechanical department
  • Ensure attendance of team members at required regular trainings
  • Logging, evaluating, and controlling of maintenance key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Take ownership of escalated maintenance issues, carrying out trouble shooting and developing technical solutions
  • Feed into maintenance and shutdown planning routine and critical tasks
  • In cooperation with the Head of Projects; Identification, definition, and management of small capital plant projects

A competitive salary, up to 12% bonus, 37.5 hours per week, flexible start time, pension minimum 4% contribution, private medical, dental, gym discounts, death in service, income protection, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
