Senior Product Safety Engineer

About the Role:

Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Product Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct safety risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into product design
  • Provide safety training and education to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety cases and technical reports

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in product safety engineering, preferably in a high-hazard industry
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including ALARP, HAZID, HAZAN, and FTA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
