Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

iO Associates, a leading provider of embedded systems used widely across the travel industry, is seeking a seasoned Azure DevOps Engineer to assume full responsibility for DevOps operations.

As the Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the Azure environment, supporting the global development team, and driving infrastructure improvements. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and adopting a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach to ensure system health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and implement improvements to the Azure infrastructure
  • Create and maintain IaC using Bicep
  • Design and deploy containers using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Implement SRE principles to ensure system health
  • Upskill new team members in a mentoring capacity

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, using the full Azure tech stack, including...
  • Provisioning IaC using Bicep (or Terraform with good Bicep knowledge)
  • AKS and Docker for containerization
  • SaaS environments
  • Start-Up environments

Bonus Experience:

  • Further expertise in Azure and Microsoft Office 365
  • DataDog and Grafana
  • Background in Software Engineering
