Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the cost planning and estimation of residential projects, including new build and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage cost plans for residential projects across RIBA Stages 0 to 5
  • Review and analyze main contractor tender submissions
  • Lead a specialist team in cladding remediation work and fire remediation projects
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and plans
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project costs and progress
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in residential construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning, estimation, and management principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Cost X, and Bluebeam software
