About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team in a housing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering surveys and collecting data related to property condition and energy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and understanding of Building Surveying, with qualifications in property surveying (RICS, CIOB, CABE or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards professional qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Property Condition Surveyors, ensuring surveys are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage and set objectives for the team, identifying and mitigating day-to-day risks.
  • Administer budgets and ensure financial management is in line with company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Building Surveying, with a strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of CDM regulations and their application in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
  • Continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
