About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dedicated kitchen team at Derbyshire Catering Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service, including food preparation, cooking, and portion control.
  • Ensure food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Prepare the dining room for service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate is required upon appointment.
