Meetings and Events Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Meetings and Events Sales Executive to join our team at the Radisson Blu Hotel Durham. As a Meetings and Events Sales Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the sales office, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the sales team in achieving department and hotel targets
- Work proactively to improve client enquiries and deliver a positive and timely response to enquiries
- Deliver on plans and objectives, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, and productivity and performance levels are attained
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Review and scrutinize the performance of the business, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance
- Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit
- Experience in event management
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service with a passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to find creative solutions with proven problem-solving capabilities
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy
- Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
- Strong communication, organization skills, and an eye for detail
