Job Overview

Position: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Glasgow

Compensation: £60,000+

Locke & McCloud is on the lookout for a driven Cyber Security Analyst to become a vital part of a global cyber security team within a well-established organization. This position is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of the company's IT systems across the globe. You will serve as the primary escalation point for the Global Security Team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and document vulnerabilities and risks associated with IT systems.
  • Monitor and report on the organization's adherence to security policies to the Security leadership.
  • Act as the main contact for all issues escalated to the Global Security Team via the ticketing system.
  • Review and manage security policies to ensure compliance with client or organizational requirements.
  • Regulate access to the organization's Information Systems and manage relevant security configurations.
  • Identify and respond to all information security incidents within the organization's environment.
  • Support the security architecture and contribute to the enhancement of the overall security infrastructure.
  • Assist in the planning for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards.
  • Technical knowledge of firewall configurations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to thrive in a diverse team environment and adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Upholds confidentiality and exercises discretion consistently.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
