Position: Automotive Technician & MOT Specialist- Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + OTE
Are you an experienced Automotive Technician with a strong background in vehicle maintenance? Do you hold a valid MOT licence and wish to be part of a dedicated and professional team? C&B Recruitment is representing a reputable garage in West Yorkshire that is on the lookout for a proficient and skilled Automotive Technician & MOT Specialist to enhance their workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and rectify a variety of vehicle issues, encompassing engine, transmission, braking systems, suspension, and electrical components.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
- Execute comprehensive MOT assessments in compliance with DVSA standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and ensure documentation is clear and organized.
- Provide customers with informed advice regarding necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Keep a tidy and systematic workspace.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Current MOT Test Licence.
- Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Desirable: Experience in a high-paced automotive workshop.
- Familiarity with a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic tools.
- Valid driving licence.
