We are seeking a skilled Lift Maintenance Technician to join our team at Schindler Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our lift equipment.

About the Role:

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of lift equipment, including minor repairs and replacement of components.
  • Rectify and reduce faults on lift equipment in cases of breakdown, and check to confirm correct functioning.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of lift installations, adjusting and reinstating as necessary, and completing service log cards and PDA.
  • Perform fault finding and diagnostic procedures using technical manuals and test equipment, restoring equipment to service.
  • Adhere to company safety objectives, maintaining and monitoring current safety systems, and implementing agreed changes to the Schindler Ltd occupational health and safety management system.
  • Work in accordance with established company occupational health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and Schindler Core Values.
  • Attend relevant training sessions and carry out all works in accordance with the company's quality corporate policy.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, or repairs.
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in lift maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Flexibility and good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills at different levels (client, inspectors, managers).
  • Full UK driving license required.
