AR/Collections Manager Job Description

Halliday Marx is seeking a skilled AR/Collections Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days spent in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with clients to discuss past due balances
  • Develop and implement KPI strategies to drive collections
  • Make informed decisions regarding customer account status and handling
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing discrepancies and questions
  • Achieve daily collection call goals and report results to management
  • Establish effective communication channels with Agency Credit Managers and Finance teams
  • Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies using ERP system data
  • Document collections efforts and research related activity
  • Run, review, and distribute ageing reports
  • Provide clients with copies of invoices and statements
  • Negotiate and structure payment plans and dispute settlements with Agencies
  • Recommend adjustments, credits, or write-offs as necessary

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Centre environment
  • Proficiency with financial ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data entry with high accuracy
