Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Are you a skilled and experienced Class 1 driver looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to join our team at Taylor Reeves Recruitment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Class 1 driver to operate a commercial vehicle, flatbed, to transport goods, large bagged, dry aggregate materials for the building trade. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, minimum 1 year's experience, and proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial vehicle, flatbed, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Secure the load and perform daily vehicle checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with transport and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.
  • Commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a flatbed truck.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay rate of £17 PAYE + Holiday £19 per hour-£21.00 per hour Umbrella payroll.
  • Guaranteed 10 hours pay a day.
  • 2 hour paid driving assessment before commencing work.
