Exciting Opportunity at Oxford Knight

Oxford Knight is a world-leading prop trading fund with offices across the globe, and we're looking for an experienced engineer with low-level systems programming and optimization expertise to join our growing ML team.

About the Role

As a Machine Learning Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our models, both training and inference. This will involve improving straightforward CUDA, but also requires a whole-systems approach, including storage systems, networking, and host- and GPU-level considerations.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of modern ML techniques and toolsets, with a focus on performance
  • Systems knowledge and experience required to debug a training run's performance end to end
  • Low-level GPU and compute cluster knowledge, including CUDA or other types of GPU programming
  • Debugging/optimization tooling experience, such as CUDA GDB, NSight Systems, and NSight Compute
  • Library knowledge of Triton, CUTLASS, CUB, Thrust, cuDNN, and cuBLAS
