Electrical Site Supervisor Opportunity

Blackfield Associates is currently supporting a leading construction service provider in their search for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join their pharmaceutical client's project in Oxford.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity that will allow you to take the next step in your career and gain valuable experience in electrical supervision on a pharmaceutical project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with HSE practices and regulations.
  • Expertise in Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and LOTO procedures to ensure electrical and MEP works are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Review and approve method statements, permits, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and turnover documentation to ensure project standards and schedules are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor electrical and MEP works, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Track and document project progress, addressing deviations and implementing corrective actions to ensure project delivery.
  • Lead system walkdowns, manage punch list closeouts, and witness commissioning activities to ensure electrical systems are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with contractors and project teams to provide updates and address concerns, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
  • Previous experience in electrical supervision on a pharmaceutical project, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
