Job Summary:

Tradebe UK is seeking a highly skilled Goods Inwards Operator to join our team at our Middleton Rd facility. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift trucks to load and unload goods from trailers, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of materials.
  • Inspect goods for damage or defects, and take samples for analysis as required.
  • Update computer records and communicate with site personnel to ensure accurate tracking of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including ISO 9002, ISO 14001, and BS18001.
  • Provide cover for holidays and sickness, and participate in shift team activities to ensure effective communication and information sharing.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management, reporting, and communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to environmental and occupational health and safety management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
